Our new clients in Pepperell had a relatively new (only three-years old) boiler that needed repair and had been installed by another company, no longer in business. Unfortunately, we had no maintenance or repair history to work with, so a thorough inspection was needed.
We discovered that the boiler had an internal leak. After conferring with the boiler manufacturer’s engineering department, we decided to replace the internal gaskets. After the painstaking process of removing the boiler’s heat exchanger to make the repair, we noticed that the heat exchanger was warped and no longer able to be repaired.
We again conferred with the manufacturer and we were able to get the boiler replaced under warranty and at no cost to the homeowner, other than the labor to install the new equipment.
